Being In-Concern
The Informatic Polemic
So the informatic polemic is very much being in-concern, and as I've state before this is something that is difficult to sustain, which is why I will wrap up the polemics project......I think. Or at least, I will jot down ideas for polemics and refrain from using them, until an off-day of work, or some other matter, because this process is taxing. And that's largely because there is this metaphysical state of being in-concern. Now, growing up in the church, the racist bigots of the bunch will talk in this coddle the innocence manner, like one shouldn't be in-concern, one should say little, one should be a veneer of nice nothing....you know, racism. And gee, I wonder what's need of me? But, in many ways, aside from the not so nice aspects of that advice, still, being in-concern isn't healthy, though it can be, as I am demonstrating, constructive! In fact, if you are on the lower margins, or lower middle to poor, frankly, it's needed. One has to speak up for their caste. Otherwise, matters are only going to get worse, and we all know this. And that's the part where I just don't think I will be able to give up the polemic process absolutely. Largely because I cannot let certain jerks, like certain folks, of a lot of wealth...living say in, I don't know, peachtree city, who may very well be good people on their terms, and I would love to see them as good people too, but ultimately, they aren't being so nice to those who they can pass the good ol word and frame and designate away to those of a different caste, until the are thoroughly setup to live that subhuman standard, you know, of total obedience, of subjectship, not of citizenship. So in that regard, I see some major issues of stopping the polemic all together. However, I know that by next year, I need to greatly isolate and minimize when I start working on the polemics because a lot of though and energy goes into being in-concern; which I find to be a necessary measure for matters in ones life to properly sour, to so one can connect with what comforts someone, what is of their authentic production. Anne rice has been by main example of this, when I think about this process, which being in-concern isn't necessarily a voluntary process. Really, I would say it isn't for anyone. You can do what you can by your own volition, but I do think as you go along in life the glass house has to crack and fissure, and if you are luck it will be shattered to bits early on, and that's beyond anyone's control...but it does happen at some point.
And I think a lo of my writings will focus on those being in-care. Meaning that I will focus on those who found their true calling during this process of being comforted as their lives soured away. Which is the life worth living....not of honey, or bee stings, nothing that needs to be processed, but of this naturally flowering, not of happiness, but of being-int-the-world, and observing how this production that is so natural to one's life, opens up to being in-care...of something that isn't an occupation, but rather, a natural extension of one's self. The informatic modeling is very much this for me, as well as the knitting, sewing, and painting. And I don't see these so much as creative endeavors, but of a intimate relation with production, with something that is of a metaphysical grounding. Something that brings a great peace of mind. And I'm all for peace of mind, when it is appropriate, but I think anyone who has half a brain in this country knows, given the antagonistic climate, given what is being attempted in the white house, given the arrogant networks who are using civilian surveillance systems, and passing note cards to reinvent racism.....peace of mind is a privilege not a right, in bad times. And we are in bad times.
